Telegram Hands U.S. Authorities Data on Thousands of Users

Telegram provided U.S. authorities with data on over 2,200 users in 2024, a significant increase from the 108 users affected by 14 requests in the first nine months of the year. This spike occurred after Telegram CEO Pavel Durov’s arrest in August 2024.
