Meta announces 5% cuts targeting low performers. Read the memo

Meta will lay off approximately 5% of its workforce, focusing on low-performing employees, as part of a performance management overhaul. CEO Mark Zuckerberg anticipates an “intense year” in 2025 and aims to streamline the company by eliminating underperforming staff. Affected employees will be notified by February 10th.
