Clop Ransomware exploits Cleo File Transfer flaw: dozens of claims, disputed breaches

The Clop ransomware group claims to have breached 59 companies by exploiting a vulnerability in Cleo file transfer products, adding them to their leak site. While some companies dispute the breaches, the Clop group threatens to publish stolen data on January 18, 2025. This incident follows previous attacks by the Clop group on enterprise file transfer software like MOVEit Transfer and GoAnywhere.
