Otelier, a cloud-based hotel management platform, suffered a data breach in July 2024, exposing personal information and hotel reservations of millions of guests. Threat actors gained access through stolen credentials, compromising data from brands like Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt. The breach resulted in the theft of almost eight terabytes of data, including guest information and internal documents.
