Zacks Investment Research, an American investment research company, reportedly suffered a data breach in June 2024, exposing sensitive information of roughly 12 million accounts. The leaked data, including full names, usernames, email addresses, and phone numbers, was published on a hacker forum and later added to Have I Been Pwned. While Zacks has not officially confirmed the breach, the data’s inclusion on HIBP and the threat actor’s claims suggest a new incident, potentially the third major breach in four years.
