Zero-Day Bug Pops Up in Parallels Desktop for Mac

A critical patch bypass vulnerability in Parallels Desktop for Mac allows unauthorized root access. The vulnerability, discovered by Mickey Jin, bypasses a patch issued in May 2024 to address a similar issue. Despite Jin reporting the bypass in July 2024, Parallels has yet to issue a fix, prompting Jin to go public with his findings.
