Microsoft discovered a malvertising campaign that infected nearly a million devices by using GitHub to host malware. The campaign, which involved multiple redirect layers and payloads, aimed to steal information including browser credentials. Singapore is considering caning as a punishment for scammers, in addition to jail time, due to the significant financial losses caused by online scams.
