Ubuntu namespace vulnerability should be addressed quickly: Expert | Network World

Three vulnerabilities were discovered in Ubuntu’s unprivileged user namespace restriction feature, allowing local attackers to bypass the protection and exploit kernel vulnerabilities. While Ubuntu asserts these are not security vulnerabilities due to AppArmor protections, experts recommend patching, limiting unprivileged profile changes, and restricting AppArmor profiles.
