A recent data breach of Oracle Cloud resulted in the theft of six million records and potentially impacted 140,000 clients. The breach, attributed to a previously known vulnerability dating back to 2014, allowed attackers to compromise an Oracle Cloud subdomain and steal encrypted passwords. The attackers, seeking to ransom victims and sell stolen data, have offered a variety of purloined file types and credentials for sale on the dark web.
