Data Leak of Twitter X and Royal Mail available on Dark Web - Cybersecurity Insiders

Royal Mail has confirmed a data breach involving 144GB of sensitive information stolen via its technology partner Spectos in March 2025, now for sale on the dark web. The compromised data includes customer documents and internal Zoom recordings. Separately, a former employee of X (formerly Twitter) has posted 400GB of metadata tied to over 2.8 billion user accounts, also listed for sale. Though not containing passwords, the X breach exposes detailed user activity that could enable targeted attacks. Both incidents highlight escalating cyber threats and the urgent need for stronger enterprise cybersecurity measures.
