LockBit Leaks Reveal Drive to Recruit Ransomware Newbies

The LockBit ransomware group has introduced a “lite” version of its ransomware portal, aimed at recruiting less experienced affiliates. The leak of LockBit’s communications confirms this new approach, which includes a symbolic fee of $777 and a focus on Asia-Pacific countries. This strategy has led to a rise in ransomware attacks, with about 26 fresh victims posted daily across data-leak sites.
