New Chrome Zero-Day Actively Exploited; Google Issues Emergency Out-of-Band Patch

Google has patched CVE-2025-5419, a high-risk V8 engine flaw (CVSS 8.8) under active exploitation. The issue enables remote attacks via crafted HTML.

Update to Chrome 137.0.7151.68/.69 on Windows/macOS, or .68 on Linux. Chromium-based browsers will receive updates shortly.
