Cybercrime gang hacks major health data provider - millions of highly personal files could be at risk of breach | TechRadar

A new cybercrime group known as World Leaks has claimed responsibility for a breach of Freedman HealthCare, a U.S.-based consultancy handling sensitive health data. The attackers allege the theft of over 42,000 files but have yet to publish them, likely as part of an extortion strategy. Freedman HealthCare has not publicly responded.
