Brazil’s central bank service provider hacked, $140M stolen – DataBreaches.Net

C&M Software, a Brazilian bank software vendor, was hacked after an employee sold login credentials for $2,700. The hackers stole $140 million from six institutions connected to the central bank, converting some to cryptocurrency and laundering it through Latin American exchanges.
