Dell Confirms Breach of Demo Platform by World Leaks Group; No Customer Data Affected

According to reporting by BleepingComputer and statements issued by Dell Technologies, the company has confirmed that its Customer Solution Centers platform was infiltrated by the World Leaks extortion group, a rebranded offshoot of the former Hunters International ransomware operation. The affected environment is used to showcase Dell’s products to commercial clients and operates entirely separate from production systems and customer data. Dell emphasized that the stolen data consisted mostly of synthetic test datasets, publicly available information, and a non-sensitive, outdated contact list.

World Leaks has not published any Dell-related material as of this writing. Intelligence analysts attribute the breach to the group’s ongoing data extortion campaigns, which have increasingly replaced traditional ransomware attacks. Dell maintains that strict segmentation protocols and layered isolation prevented any impact to customer systems or core infrastructure. The investigation is ongoing, but there is no indication of exposure of sensitive customer, partner, or production data, according to Dell’s statement.
