Hacker Accesses Millions of IMDataCenter Records from Exposed AWS Bucket
A Florida-based data solutions provider, IMDataCenter, exposed a 38GB database containing sensitive personal information of 10,820 individuals. The data, which included names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses, was accessible without password protection or encryption. A hacker, known as ThinkingOne, accessed and downloaded the data, including Social Security Numbers and dates of birth, highlighting the risks of data breaches and the importance of robust data security measures.
