Microsoft Lays Out Its Quantum-Safe Plans

Microsoft aims to make all its products and services quantum-safe by 2033, two years ahead of the government deadline. The Quantum-Safe Program (QSP) involves integrating post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms into foundational components, core infrastructure services, and all services and endpoints. The roadmap outlines a phased transition strategy, with early deployment of quantum-safe capabilities expected by 2029 and full integration by default in subsequent years.
