Study Reveals TikTok, Alibaba, Temu Collect Extensive User Data in US

A study by Incogni reveals that popular foreign apps, particularly those owned by Chinese companies, are aggressively collecting and sharing user data in the US. The study found that these apps collect an average of 15 data types, including sensitive information like names, locations, and emails, and share around 5 of those data types with third parties for targeted advertising and profiling. This widespread data collection raises privacy concerns and potential national security risks.
