Red Hat confirms security incident after hackers claim GitHub breach

Red Hat confirmed a security incident related to its consulting business, but did not verify hacker claims of breaching GitHub repositories and stealing Customer Engagement Reports (CERs). The Crimson Collective allegedly stole 570GB of data from 28,000 internal projects, including CERs with sensitive customer information.
