A hacker group, “Scattered LAPSUS$ Hunters,” claims to have stolen almost 1 billion records from Salesforce by targeting its customers through “vishing” attacks. Salesforce denies any compromise of its systems, stating the activity is unrelated to any known vulnerabilities. The group also claims responsibility for previous attacks on British retailers and published a leak site on the dark web.
