Android Spyware Targets UAE Messaging Users - GovInfoSecurity

Two Android spyware campaigns, ProSpy and ToSpy, target UAE messaging users by masquerading as Signal and ToTok upgrades. These campaigns, discovered by Eset researchers, exfiltrate sensitive data and have been ongoing since 2024. The spyware uses phishing domains to distribute malicious APK files, bypassing Google Play safeguards.
