Chinese Owners Locked Out of Dutch Chip Maker Nexperia

The Dutch government invoked a national security law to sever semiconductor chipmaker Nexperia from control by its Chinese parent, Wingtech Technologies, citing serious governance shortcomings and concerns over the availability of essential goods. The Dutch court suspended the Chinese CEO and appointed an independent third party to control most of Wingtech’s shares.
