RMPocalypse: Single 8-Byte Write Shatters AMD’s SEV-SNP Confidential Computing
The RMPocalypse vulnerability in AMD’s SEV-SNP allows attackers to exploit a single memory write to the Reverse Map Paging (RMP) table, compromising confidential computing guarantees and enabling access to sensitive information. AMD has released fixes for affected EPYC processors and acknowledged the flaw with CVE-2025-0033.
