Chrome Zero-Day Exploitation Linked to Hacking Team Spyware - SecurityWeek

A Chrome zero-day (CVE-2025-2783) exploited in a cyberespionage campaign named Operation ForumTroll is linked to Hacking Team’s new spyware, Dante. The campaign used phishing emails to deliver exploits that bypassed Chrome’s sandbox, leading to the installation of the LeetAgent spyware, which shares similarities with Dante and was previously used to deploy Memento Labs' (formerly Hacking Team) surveillance tools.
