DOJ Continues Crackdown on North Korea’s Cyber Schemes

The DOJ has secured guilty pleas and over $15 million in civil forfeiture as part of a crackdown on North Korea’s cyber schemes. U.S. facilitators aided North Korean IT workers in obtaining remote tech jobs at U.S. companies using stolen identities, generating millions for the regime and affecting over 136 victim firms.
