Meet ShinySp1d3r: New Ransomware-as-a-Service Created by ShinyHunters

An early build of the forthcoming ShinySp1d3r ransomware-as-a-service platform has surfaced, offering a first look at a new extortion operation. ShinySp1d3r is being developed by threat actors linked to the ShinyHunters and Scattered Spider groups.
These actors have historically relied on encryptors from other ransomware gangs — including ALPHV/BlackCat, Qilin, RansomHub and DragonForce — but are now creating their own platform to support attacks conducted by them and their affiliates.
News of the emerging RaaS operation first appeared on a Telegram channel, where a collective calling itself “Scattered Lapsus$ Hunters,” referencing Scattered Spider, Lapsus$ and ShinyHunters, was attempting to extort data-theft victims at Salesforce and Jaguar Land Rover.
