Who are the hackers behind Manage My Health’s cyber attack? | RNZ News

The ransomware group Kazu, responsible for the Manage My Health cyber attack, has a history of targeting institutions worldwide, including the Nepali Ministry of Education and the Doctor Alliance in Dallas. Kazu has demanded a $US60,000 ransom for the stolen data, affecting over 120,000 Manage My Health users. The New Zealand government advises against paying ransoms, citing potential legal consequences and the encouragement of further criminal activity.
