Firefox joins Chrome and Edge as sleeper extensions spy on users | Malwarebytes

Malicious browser extensions, including ShadyPanda, GhostPoster, and Zoom Stealer, have been found to spy on users across Firefox, Chrome, and Edge. These extensions, some active for years, use techniques like steganography to hide malicious code, enabling attackers to track browsing behavior, steal credentials, and potentially target online banking. While removed from web stores, users must manually uninstall them, and a Malwarebytes Deep Scan is recommended for detection.
