Germany and Israel pledge cybersecurity alliance Source: DataBreachToday www.databreachtoday.com/germany-i… Germany is seeking to significantly strengthen its defences against cyberattacks from adversaries such as Russia, China, Iran and North Korea, and is turning to key ally Israel for expertise and closer cooperation. Earlier this month, German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt travelled to Tel Aviv to sign a cyber defence cooperation agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In a statement, Dobrindt said Germany is keen to learn from Israel’s experience in building its “cyber dome,” referring to Israel’s relatively new cyber defence system, which was demonstrated during his visit.
