A new Windows-based malware strain, dubbed RenEngine loader, has infected over 400,000 devices by hiding within pirated PC games. This malware, which has been active since last April, can steal sensitive data like passwords and cryptocurrency wallet information, and has been observed with the highest concentration of victims in India, the United States, and Brazil.
