Password managers less secure than promised | ETH Zurich

Researchers from ETH Zurich have discovered significant security vulnerabilities in three popular password managers, enabling attackers to view and alter stored passwords. The study, which analyzed Bitwarden, Lastpass, and Dashlane, found that despite promises of zero-knowledge encryption, attackers could exploit simple user interactions to compromise password vaults.
