On February 20, 2026, Cloudflare experienced a six-hour global service outage due to an internal configuration error in its Addressing API. This error unintentionally withdrew customer BGP routes, making services unreachable for clients using Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) services and causing widespread HTTP 403 errors.
