‘Richter Scale’ Model Measures Magnitude of OT Cyber Incidents

A new OTI Impact Score model, inspired by the Richter Scale, has been developed to measure the severity, reach, and duration of OT cybersecurity incidents. This scoring system aims to provide a standardized and rapid assessment of actual impacts, helping to avoid over- or under-hyping events and guiding appropriate responses.
