LexisNexis confirms data breach as hackers leak stolen files

Data analytics company LexisNexis confirmed a data breach after hackers exploited an unpatched React app to access AWS infrastructure, leaking 2GB of customer and business information. The stolen data, described by LexisNexis as mostly old and non-critical, included customer names, contact details, and support tickets, but not sensitive PII or financial information.
