Viral ‘Quittr’ Porn Addiction App Exposed the Masturbation Habits of Hundreds of Thousands of Users

The Quittr app, designed to help users stop watching pornography, has leaked sensitive data of hundreds of thousands of users, including minors, detailing their masturbation habits and feelings towards pornography. Despite being alerted to a major security flaw in September 2025 and initially acknowledging it, the app’s developers, Alex Slater and Connor McLaren, failed to fix the vulnerability for months, even denying the issue when confronted. The data breach was only addressed after the app was publicly revealed and named by 404 Media.
