Iran-Backed Hackers Claim Wiper Attack on Medtech Firm Stryker – Krebs on Security

An Iran-backed hacktivist group named Handala claims responsibility for a wiper attack against Stryker, a global medical technology company, impacting over 200,000 systems across 79 countries. The attack, which appears to have utilized Microsoft Intune for remote wiping, is reportedly a retaliation for a missile strike and has led to the shutdown of Stryker’s offices and the wiping of employee devices.
