Advantest confirms personal information stolen in ransomware attack

Advantest Corporation is notifying affected individuals that a ransomware attack earlier this year exposed their personally identifiable data. The Japanese semiconductor test equipment manufacturer said a threat actor breached its network on February 15 and deployed a ransomware payload; an October 6 notification confirms customer or employee data was impacted.
