Microsoft Outlook to block MSIX attachments starting November

Microsoft will add .msix and .msixbundle attachments to Outlook’s blocked-attachment list in Outlook on the web and the new Outlook for Windows starting next month. The change targets a file type that has been abused to deliver malware, BleepingComputer reports. Users who need to share MSIX files will have to use alternative methods once the block takes effect.
