YouTubers targeted with fake sponsorships and “channel verification” phishing

Scammers are targeting YouTube creators' Google accounts with personalized emails posing as brands offering sponsorships, Help Net Security reports. The campaigns reference a creator’s own content to appear legitimate before pushing malicious channel-verification lures.
