Anthropic Launches Free AI Vulnerability Scanner for Open-Source Projects

Anthropic has launched OSS Scanner, a free, opt-in service that uses its AI models to find security vulnerabilities in open-source software. Maintainers who opt in receive periodic scans with reports explaining suspected flaws, how to reproduce them, and suggested fixes. The service grew out of Anthropic’s Project Glasswing work using Claude to find vulnerabilities.
