Researchers have found that attackers can abuse rare Cyrillic and Latin characters to register lookalike domains that impersonate popular websites in Chromium browsers. The two-character trick opens up a wide range of typosquatting opportunities for phishing. The Register reports the technique exploits how browsers render homoglyph characters.
