Attackers claim to have stolen 80 million South African patient records in massive Ampath Laboratories data breach

An attacker claims to have stolen more than 80 million patient records from Ampath Laboratories, one of South Africa’s largest pathology providers, DataBreaches.net reports. The actor, ByteToBreach, announced the breach on a hacker forum; Ampath confirmed it was attacked and that patient data was likely compromised.
