InjectEave: an attack that intercepts analog audio signals

Researchers from two Hong Kong universities have demonstrated InjectEave, an attack that intercepts already-decoded analog audio from headphones by exploiting the physical properties of their electronic components, Kaspersky reports. The method can eavesdrop on voice calls without any software compromise of the device.
