Ledger confirms spy chip implant behind wallet crypto thefts

Ledger has confirmed that some of its hardware wallets distributed through Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis contained an unauthorized hardware implant that drained users' cryptocurrency. Help Net Security reports the hidden implant has been linked to about $93 million in theft.
