The security protocols on a Tesla stopped a Homeland Security Investigations agent from placing a tracking device on the car of a suspected drug trafficker, according to a warrant application reviewed by 404 Media. Agents had been surveilling the Milwaukee suspect for months and sought court permission to track his Tesla as part of a drug investigation.
