U.K. Sanctions Cryptomus for RU Money Laundering

The United Kingdom has sanctioned Cryptomus, a cryptocurrency platform experts say is a major conduit for payments tied to ransomware, narcotics, darknet markets and fraud that helps Russia circumvent financial restrictions, Krebs on Security reports. The sanctions freeze Cryptomus’s assets at UK banks and bar British companies from doing business with the platform.
