Cyberattack AIs must be trained only on air-gapped systems, hundreds of AI researchers say

Hundreds of AI researchers have warned in an open letter that current security procedures for training AI models are inadequate, calling for stronger sandboxing including air-gapping of cyber-capable models. The 487 signatories also called for more AI safety research and a new international body overseeing best practice, CSO reports.
