Feds Suspect Ransom Negotiator Ran ShinyHunters Extortion Site

US federal investigators believe an executive at a US-based consulting firm helped operate ShinyHunters' victim extortion website, Krebs on Security reports. The reporting also says arrested Canadian negotiator Edward Dubrovsky knew the group had stolen sensitive data from FBI servers before the bureau was informed, and that negotiators' chats with the group are central to the investigation.
