Attorney General Tong Announces $625,000 Settlement with Frontier Over Data Breach

Connecticut Attorney General William Tong has announced a $625,000 settlement with Frontier Communications over an April 2024 data breach, DataBreaches.net reports. The breach, attributed to RansomHub, compromised personal information including Social Security numbers of 58,841 Connecticut residents, and the settlement also imposes detailed security requirements on the company.
