Two more Serbian opposition figures targeted with spyware, researchers say
Citizen Lab has confirmed that University of Belgrade rector Vladan Đokić’s phone was infected with NSO Group’s Pegasus spyware sometime this year, ahead of Serbia’s October 25 elections, The Record reports. A second figure, prosecutor Rade Bajić, received an Apple threat notification in August and his device is still being analysed, and researchers say at least 15 people in Serbia have been targeted with advanced spyware in 2026.
